Kate & Harshal 10.2025

Kate’s inquiry email to me read: Our “inspiration is coming from our favorite comfort movies, like Pride & Prejudice, Count of Monte Cristo and Princess Bride. We would love our invitations to reflect an old love letter that traveled the world, reminiscent of the visuals of those movies.” They chose a calligraphy script that didn’t feel too perfect, like someone in the 18th century was jotting down a letter the day after an amazing party. We used my absolute favorite paper in the world, a cotton paper from Italy that’s soft, thick, and luxurious. The format of the paper was perfect for a bold wax seal. We combined their heritage into a crest, with Scottish thistles and Fijian tagimoucia and their initials. Their romantic, unique ideas and detailed notes throughout the design process were the perfect inspiration to create a one-of-a-kind Save the Date. Stay tuned to see how their wedding invitations turned out…
