Designing Caroline and Evan’s invitation suite was a joy. They worked with me on a tight timeline for their Save the Date, choosing a semi-custom suite before they moved from DC to California, where they were going to get married. Then, we dove into a fully custom design for their invitations. We used two methods of printing on the invitation, to have a fully colored crest and a lovely green letterpress for the text. They wanted a classic feeling, with hints of their Sonoma venue everywhere. We used line illustrations, highlighting the different events of the wedding weekend, and natural colors that would be found in the beautiful countryside on their wedding day. A custom gold wax seal provided a lovely finishing touch to the envelope.
